Hello, I am currently a sophomore in high school and have some questions. What are the most important factors to becoming a competitive applicant to join the academy and what are the steps I can take now to make my application the best it can possibly be? The most important question to me right now would be what are the best classes to take to better prepare me for the academy.

Good for you for setting your sights early. Early enough than you can do primary research. Go to USAFA’s website and read every single page, tab, pulldown and link. More than 90% of your questions will be answered there. It’s the latest, most accurate information.
