My DS received an appointment this morning at 1 am. We found out at 6am. So much for taking advantage of daylight savings. Best wishes to all!

We received one also...DD is over the moon! I agree the extra hour of sleep flew right out of the window....so worth it! Hope others awake to great news also!

Received my full appointment to USCGA this morning as well! I accidentally woke up after only 5 hours of sleeping and "accidentally" woke up the whole house as well - worth it! I hope others hear some good news soon as well!

My last recommendation was submitted on August 14th, and I finished the application (fitness assessment, essays) by the end of August.

Oh wow very nice. If I had all my reccs submitted early, and my application was submitted in october do you know when I will be evaluated? And if you don't mind can you run down your test scores/gpa/ and some extra curriculars? It's ok if you wish to keep it private haha

Oh right, I'm sorry. I cannot tell you anything about the evaluation process, but I know some others on this site are more informed.
Test Scores: ACT - 33 (retaking in Dec) SAT - 1390/1600 (retaking in Dec), SAT2: Math 1 - 800, Literature - took yesterday
GPA: 3.8W, 3.45UW
Senior Schedule: AP Macroeconomics, AP French 5, AP Psychology, AP Calculus AB, AP US Government, Physics, AP Literature and Composition
Extracurriculars: Varsity tennis team (3 years), Tennis State Champion (2 years), Tennis Team Captain, Varsity Track (1 year), French Club, Interact/Volunteering Club, National Honors Society, Sales/Cashier (20 hrs/wk), Relay For Life Chairman/Team Leader (2 years)

That's what I thought too. About 2 weeks ago, an Admissions Officer contacted the registrar at my school asking for my first quarter (not semester) grades.

We submitted early October but got the same email around the same time. Is it safe to assume we are "round 2"? Does it seem like they're done with round 1? Do you think we'll hear something before thanksgiving?
