I anticipate I'll be joining you soon. I've poured everything I have into this, but I don't think my standardized tests are going to make the cut. I have great grades and horrible scores-- oh, well. All I know is that at the end of the day we've done our best.

Yeah, hoping. My DS still shows unchecked too. So, still two weeks to go before the postings on 1 APR 17. Would be nice to hear before that though. Also still waiting to hear from the USAFA. Heard from the USNA this morning. Got denied. But it was expected since he didn't receive a nomination. All three of his nominations were to the USAFA.
 
Thanks! I know what a nerve-wracking experience this is. To give you an idea of DD's stats:

4.3 GPA
30 ACT
11 AP classes - 6 this year as a Senior
2 years varsity water polo
4 years varsity swim - captain this year
Not a recruited athlete
PFE 235
Major: MES
One part-time job, lifeguard at a water park

Also, the letter doesn't start with "Congratulations" like other universities. We thought at first she was being denied...

She did. This time last year she had been rejected from Notre Dame, UVA, Tulane, Georgetown, American University and was not sure what she was gonna do. She entered George Washington University worked hard. Realized that SA was where she needed to be and applied in late December to all three. We are so humbled and appreciative of this blessing. She will serve proudly. Just so darn proud.

Congratulations !!! Was the box checked for CCERB? Was the notification that a decision is available near that checked box? Still waiting here. Check DS's Bear Den a few minutes ago, nothing.
 
i was told my DS's application went for review last week. Does anyone know how long the review typically takes?

A while. My DS's application went to the Review Board on 4 JAN 17. We still don't have a decision. The Check Box for CCERB is still unchecked.

Wow! Ok, Thanks! His application was completed 3 Jan 17, but I only got the email last week saying it was going for review. I guess we will all know soon enough!
