It should be apparent that if grades were the sole determining factor, the task facing Admissions would be straightforward: organize all of the candidates in descending order by grades and test scores and then select the top 300-400. I hope it is also apparent that would be an absurd way to select the class. Unless you are sitting in an Admissions officer's place, looking at the complete application package and understand the needs of the Academy and the Coast Guard, it's not possible to assume who the stronger candidate is.

I completely agree, I was merely posting my scores like others had done. My job now is simply to do everything in my power to get off of the waitlist. And if not, next year.

Nothing. DS completed his application on 28 SEP 16. It went to the Board on 4 JAN 17. He hasn't been denied, waitlisted, offered scholars, or any other status. Still in wait mode to hear something. This is crazy o_O
 
Nope, nothing in bears den yet just the coach call this afternoon, my app went to the bard on 4 Jan 17 as well.
 
I have asked several times how many applied for RA. I never received an answer.

That this late date they have to know how many did!

CGA doesn't release that data until after the admissions board period closes. Withdrawls, med DQ, and unforseen events can change the totals.
 
23 days and counting still no news regarding appointments. Perhaps they will all be released on 4/1/17.

Hoping something comes out soon. It's been a long wait. Also waiting to hear from the USAFA. Deadline to accept for them has been moved to 15 APR 17 instead of 1 MAY 17, doesn't give much time to decide if one receives a late MAR or early APR appointment offer.
