Wow very surprised to hear that! Very early for someone to come off of the waitlist. Red 410, just a reminded that they did say that most of us waitlisters would be wanting until after May 1
I know, but it's nice to dream...

Congrats!!
Were you on the waitlist? How were you informed??
Yes, I was waitlisted EA. I received a call Thursday night and the email came yesterday.
Are you a recruited athlete?
Stefia, congrats to you! Go bears!!!
There seems to be many advantages to EA. To admissions and applicants. USCGA has really got it together and has a real advantage. I wonder how many great candidates they've snagged from other SA's because of EA?With all due respect to RA applicants, maybe this means that they did not get all of the applicants they were looking for. Seems like a good sign for EA waitlisters
Rules?Congratulations stefcia98!
That does sound strange. I also thought EA would have to wait until after May 1 and RA were selected, notified and allowed to accept. Did the rules change?
Awesome! We can all celebrate and worry together here [emoji16]

I am new to this forum and hope I'm not asking a question that has already been asked/answered.
In DS's Bear's Den, under Application Check List/Status, the Application Complete-ready for Review box is checked. The Cadet Candidate Evaluation Board Review Complete box, below, is unchecked. Several folks have mentioned emails advising that their applications are being reviewed...is there/should there be a separate notification between Ready for Review and Board Review Complete? Thank you!
In terms of getting a notification in the time period between going to review and your review being complete there is none. After a notification is sent that your app is going for review the next notification you could get is only an admissions decision. Some coaches do call/email ahead of the decision posting, however. (Again, correct me as needed)
Depends on who you ask. From my standpoint as a parent, it's totally more stressful for usIn terms of getting a notification in the time period between going to review and your review being complete there is none. After a notification is sent that your app is going for review the next notification you could get is only an admissions decision. Some coaches do call/email ahead of the decision posting, however. Okay, thank you! Wondering whether all of this is more nerve wracking for the applicants or their parents
According to their website, Saturday (1 APR 17) is the day.Is April 1st when everyone should find out whether they've been accepted or not into USCGA?
