Quick question, is there anything else that I can fill out for USMA. I have filled out the SLS application and got accepted to that. When is the nezt step in the process open?

The full application (a.k.a the second step kit) will be posted on your candidate portal this august (at least thats what it was last year) and you will have a bunch of items to complete. For now, work hard in school, keep taking ACT/SAT, and work on your nomination applications when they are released. Good luck!

I strongly suggest reaching out to your teachers and whomever else you're going to ask to write your recommendations and know how to reach them over the summer so you can get them completed early. Also apply for ROTC as they might start the DODMERB process (medical exam) sooner and that will help. If you can get your file completed earlier you will benefit from being in one of the first batches reviewed rather than waiting for the later batches where you're one of many many applications. Congrats on getting accepted to SLS. Work on the CFA events because you'll take it for real there and want to do well on it. Good luck!
