Hi all,
I just ordered my ds the plebe "Personal Items Kits" from USMMA Navy Exchange and learned a few things I thought I'd pass along...
1. At the end of May you can call the Navy Exchange and preorder and pay for a fan for your ds/dd. The fan will be waiting at the Navy Exchange with their name on it. If your ds/dd doesn't need it, they can exchange or return it.
2. Your ds/dd can purchase a personal printer at the Navy Exchange when they get to KP as well. Some purchase their own, others share the cost of and use of the printer with their roommate. The Navy Exchange carries a continuous supply of printer cartridges for all printers sold by them.
3. For those who's ds/dd are athletes, the USMMA Navy Exchange recently redid their "Nutrition" area so that ALL protein powders, supplements, vitamins, protein bars, etc. are NCAA and military LEGAL. This is nice because it eliminates searching online for nutritional items, trying to figure out what's in them and then trying to figure out if it's legal, not to mention what happens to the components when they are ingested (some components that are legal become illegal when ingested). Shopping at the USMMA Navy Exchange for nutritional items will make that whole headache go away!
That's all I know. Have a great day all!
