USNA 2025 Waiting and....Waiting

Are there any acceptances today or should we brace ourselves for rejections at this point if we dont have a decision...

TWE here too. My son is going to accept his offer to USMMA. I’m so very happy for and proud of him.

It’s been a long and difficult road, applying to four service academies, rotc and civilian colleges, needing a medical waiver, initially failing fitness tests and body weight parameters, being granted three nominations and then being told one was a mistake, etc.

He battled through every obstacle, as so many of you have. Congratulations on sticking with it and on your incredible alternate plans! Everyone should be proud of their own tremendous effort.

Thank you to all of the wise and wonderful SAF contributors who helped us along and kept us sane (or did their best to). ❤️
Wow, it was quite a journey for you and your DS. Congratulations on USMMA - I hope he loves it!

I think they pretty much took care of the waitlist offers yesterday. Today they are sending the TWEs. I believe the only new appointments we will see at this point are those that have either conditional appointments or LOAs that are going through the medical waiver process.

I have no clue but based on what people have said, about 11-12% of a given year's class should be on the forum's appointment list, and looking at the number of people on the USAFA list, it's probably safe to assume that there should be (hopefully) more acceptances coming.

The thing is on the waitlist letters, it says something around 1360 offers are given out. So expect another 30-40 to be given out today and tomorrow. Some of them maybe Waiver’s but some can be full appointments.

My son's LOA has a "need to meet" date of 4/26, and (so far) he has not received the TWE. But he has no nomination, so it should just be a matter of time I'm guessing???

Keep your head up everyone. Even a TWE is not the end of your career. It is a bump that you can choose to push to overcome either with a re-app, or other options at your doorstep.
