USNA 2025 Waiting and....Waiting

Hello everyone! Have great news to share! My DS is headed to NAPS!!! I just officially posted it on the NAPS thread. He received an email this afternoon that stated..."If you are receiving this email, you have received a fully qualified offer of appointment to the United States Naval Academy Preparatory School, Class of 2022. Congratulations!" Soooo proud of him! Thank you to all of you! You made the waiting bearable.

That is FANTASTIC! A NAPSTER! So very excited and happy for him and your family! How exciting!!! Fly NAVY!!!

I think admissions is waiting to see if the people who got appointments in our areas will commit. A lot of my friends in got accepted to multiple SAs and many of them are turning down USNA. The enrollment deadline for USMA and USAFA is May 1st according to my friends, so I think USNA has us ‘waiters’ as the backups to ppl who are turning USNA down. Sound reasonable? Just my theory
