My process for getting through the past few days has been updating my portal and updating SA forums. Feel like I’m going a bit crazy Really hoping I don’t have to wait until April 30 to hear though!I feel like none of us have left this thread in days lol
It’s the same way for me!What message is posted for your applicant currently if they’re still in the running? My daughter’s still says that her application was received. Doesn’t say under review or anything like that
I’m not familiar with the USNA live chat. Was that with applicants? Parents? It was said by moderator LT Jeremie Gilbert in the USNA live chat.
If you look on the Admissions page on USNA.edu, the live chat widget is up and running 1-2 times a day. Great place to ask questions real-time from an Admissions counselor.I’m not familiar with the USNA live chat. Was that with applicants? Parents?
Thanks so much! Is it ok for parents to ask questions or is it primarily for applicants? If you look on the Admissions page on USNA.edu, the live chat widget is up and running 1-2 times a day. Great place to ask questions real-time from an Admissions counselor.

It’s always recommended the applicant advocate and ask questions for themselves, as part of young adult development. Given the pre-pandemic f:2:f sessions on the Yard welcomed parents, I am sure you won’t be ignored or turned away. If you can wait and give your applicant a chance to take the lead, I would do that. Thanks so much! Is it ok for parents to ask questions or is it primarily for applicants?
Son still has the gold envelope with "Decision is ready," and it still shows his LOA, but no nomination (he didn't get one from his efforts, only one to the USAFA from which he has the rejection already). Hasn't changed in quite a while. What message is posted for your applicant currently if they’re still in the running? My daughter’s still says that her application was received.
