Oh man, so sorry, Brian. I thought for sure the golden ticket was yours. At least you can finally proceed with life! You'll be fine! Good luck to you!

Texas A&M is among the best plan B’s. Especially for engineering. Awesome corps of cadets , he will love it there. Good luckHe’s got a good plan B at Texas A&M for engineering.
No! I’m so sorry. Good luck with alternate plans and when this is all in your rear view mirror.
I was waitlisted the same day as you and my conditional appointment came on the 28th. I am still waiting for a medical waiver.I was waitlisted on April 13, and received conditional appointment on April 30.
How were you informed of your appointment from the waitlist? Did it show up in your portal or did you get an email/call?I was waitlisted the same day as you and my conditional appointment came on the 28th. I am still waiting for a medical waiver.
I received an e-mail and then I got a letter in the mail a few days later. It did also update on this portal: https://usnacandidate.force.com/OnlineApp/TargetX_Portal__PB#/How were you informed of your appointment from the waitlist? Did it show up in your portal or did you get an email/call?
Yup, got my medical tests scheduled for this Friday. Wishing everyone good luck in the waiver process! It sounds like a few of us are waiting for that official bump up from Conditional to Official....crossing my fingers for everyone!
I totally missed this post and was wondering where you were in the wait. I was pulling for you!Good morning to all of you who stood the test of time in the USNA Class of 2025 application journey. While I write this I know there are many of you that carry the anchor I now officially have been strapped with. The pain is real! The chains are heavy, and it is going to take a lot of strength to stand up. Just like you, I gave it my best effort, but came up short. I arrived at the place I didn't want to go to, but here I am. May 1st, 2021 at 0400 I received my TWE. Instead of a Golden Envelope, I received a new assignment. It wasn't the assignment I was reaching for, but it is the assignment handed to me. I will step on a new ship, headed in a different direction. There will be storms along the way with rough seas ahead. However, the storms will pass and the the sky's will clear. I will arrive at the same place I wanted to go, but took a different route. When I step off of that boat, I will be stronger, better prepared, and ready to serve my country as a NAVAL OFFICER! I am grateful to be surrounded by people who share the same commitment of serving our country. I look forward to meeting you out there on the deck! God Bless you, Keep the FAITH! "DON'T GIVE UP THE SHIP!" FLY NAVY!
NEW ASSIGNMENT: USS REDHAWK 2025
LOCATION: MIAMI UNIVERSITY-Oxford, Ohio
UNIT: NROTC MIAMI OHIO
NSI: PHASE II
Thanks for the info. Holding out hope as her bro is USNA Class of 2023 and she would love to be there with him!I know in our state, we have one still trying to clear medical for their LOA....so, in a case like this, should that medical not clear? Our next person (on the waitlist) would be offered.
So in that example, it would mean no news is good news for your dd. I’m not saying this is the case, but it’s an example of how something could be going. Until things are all buttoned up, and a TWE is received, there is still hope.
Then you know how the process goes! Good luck. I have two there myself. It’s pretty neatThanks for the info. Holding out hope as her bro is USNA Class of 2023 and she would love to be there with him!
There is absolutely no way to know this. The last pieces are falling into the class puzzle. You are in play until you are not.Does anyone have any info on how many will be coming off the waitlist?
Yes. Each applicant is eventually informed of their status. You’re in the game until told you are not. Will those not selected off the waitlist ultimately get a TWE at some point? Thx
