USNA Application Timing

Hi y'all, I have a question with my Naval Academy application timing. I have an ACT in February and that is the one I plan to ace ( I previously scored a 33 on the English section, but a 23 on math. Yikes!), but I was reading a forum on here saying that most of the LOAs arrive in Jan/Feb so I want to get everything done quick. I'm just worried that the board will review my application before my ACT. Any advice?

An LOA is not the goal. An appointment is. The academy will superscore your tests in any case. You could send your current scores and update them from the Feb test. I'm assuming they will accept scores from the Feb test.

Most LOAs arrive before January. With the new portal, pushed back deadline and COVID delays in a lot of things this is not a normal year. As mentioned, an appointment is the goal. A 23 math, as you know, is below average. Focus on what you can control... that is completing your best app and improving your ACT.
