My DS was notified by the nomination Congressman last Wednesday and neither of the sites show the appointment yet...anxiously waiting to see it in writing so I can add him to the list : )

So, on Saturday (Feb 6), DD logged in to the second portal and found the "decision is ready" link. The letter linked to that says something to the affect of "we are pleased to inform you that the admissions board has recommended you for appointment to the class of 2025". It then goes on to say that any incomplete items on your application portal must be completed by Feb 20, 2020 or your guaranteed appointment may be withdrawn.

We're confused, she doesn't have any incomplete items listed on her application portal. Is this a LOA with a contingency, or an offer of appointment?

I would have your daughter call her admissions counselor to clarify. To me that is the best course of action. Without seeing the letter it’s hard to know. My DD LOA letter said the following things needed to be completed...and her appointment letter does not say anything about actions needing to be done. Have your girl call!

No email was sent. Just check your portals (both) regularly.

Good advice, we'll have her call. We also haven't been contacted by the nominating MOC, although I know that not all of them do. It was just a bit odd for it show up as a "decision". We were under the impression that was reserved for acceptance or regret letters. Thanks!!

Has anyone got their BFE yet in the mail? And if anyone has emailed to accept, have you got a response yet? I emailed today and I’m hoping the BFE comes in the next week. My West Point one came within a week of acceptance so I’m hoping this follows the same timeline.
