Start with the first 3 ASAP:

1. Background check form completed by your local city or county police/sheriff office …. You can usually walk in and wait for them to do the background check and complete the form …. They will Seal and Sign it to.

2. Proof of Citizenship: Get a certified copy of your Birth Certificate ideally.

3. Body Art attestation form

Then start the the Pre-Iday checklist ASAP — e.g, see Primary Care office to get the Immunization form filled out, etc.

Maybe not the forms but the crux of the info may be.

You will get it done. I know of an appointee that had 4 days to complete. And did. You have time. Congrats!!

Wow congrats to you! I just found out about three in my state who were notified in the last 15 days. Really exciting and stressful for them and their families.

Just take one thing at a time. Deep breaths. And spend time with family and friends.

Print the permit to report and get organized, ask mom or dad for relatives names, addresses etc that you will need for the secret clearance doc (background info doc that is many, many pages in length). Keep a copy of the entire completed permit to report in both hard and soft copy.

Ahhhh…we have been waiting for this to actually occur! An appointee getting plucked from the bowels of NSI and dropped on over at USNA! Haven’t seen/heard of this happening yet, but it’s been a logistical wonderment the last few years since the relatively new NSI program began!

They restructured to a shorter time frame for this cycle.
