USNA Admissions Board has traditionally met on Thursdays BUT, the actual appointments don't come from them, they have to move through the Noms and Appointments folks for one and announcements are not supposed to be made until after they give the MOCs time to do a notification whether or not they choose to do so. I'd estimate that the time from Admissions Board "upvote" to an appointment announcement (from USNA) to candidates is at best, a week.

One of the readily discernable data points from this august roster of exemplary achievement -- spanning Oct 12 to Jan 12, so far -- is that no candidates from the State of New York has reported an appointment (including DS, whose application is "Complete - Pending Review").

New York is a large state which surely will yield the Navy some fine officers from the Class of '27. Based on history from last year and before, what does this tell us?

Does USNA admissions wait for all senators and representatives to complete their nominations first, and then there will be a flood of appointments from the Empire State? Any insights on this are gratefully welcomed.

We don’t know if there are appointments yet with candidates that don’t come to these forums. The forums report 15 to 20% usually.

Some posters don’t list state.

We don’t know the effect by dodmerb computers being down for so long.

Historically the Senators in NY nominate in January.

Last year DD received her nomination (NYC Congressional District ) on January 25 and from what I recall many of the congressional districts near us in NYC were conducting interviews later than many other states . I recall seeing folks from other states posting that they had nominations in October when NY congressional reps had deadlines to submit nomination packages in November or even early December . I also don’t really recall a flood of NY appointments tbh .
