USNA Class of 2027 Waiting and Speculating

That I don't know. Obviously a touchy subject and he doesn't like to pry, but he was told by a friend recently that he was "denied" by USNA.
My FIL was a retired Master Chief so my wife is very used to acronyms. I'm still getting used to them, but this one's going in the rotation for sure.

I believe portal first. DD has a friend from summer seminar who found out he was not accepted via portal and hadn’t received TWE in the mail yet.
I'm a trial lawyer. I feel like this acronym summarizes at least half of the words that come out of my mouth.

I kept it in mind when writing answers to essay exams at the Naval Postgraduate School. I used the Alternate Style to keep myself on topic. Comes in handy in various settings.
And ATFQ is a lot more satisfying than "move to strike as non-responsive."

Safe to say “F” in any acronym means only one thing in my mind. During the height of Covid, all the work emails with “WFH today” really threw me for loop there for a while.

No emails or other communications. He receive a Conditional LOA in late Feb needing a Body Composition Form which was done the same day and not a concern. Then CIS switched from “Conditional LOA” back to CPR about 3 weeks ago after Body Composition Form was processed. We then got a BFE about 2 weeks ago. Websit’s still says CPR. I highlight this only because it underscores how time-late the Website can be. Last year we saw CPR from about November until 15 April and he was “Turned Down.” It’s a tough waiting game - good luck to all.
My son’s response from the USNA website last year read “Turned Down” - yeah it was an ouch moment but I have to respect the clear and concise comm.

The Director I had been chatting with throughout the process in the first round gave me a heads up a day or two before my son got turned down, so we knew it was coming. She was apologetic in letting us know that they were unable to fit him into the class considering his LOA, but encouraged him to try again if he so desired.
My experience with the communications and transparency (as much as was allowed) through both cycles my son did has been top notch. Most of the communication was my son's doing, and letting me know status, but the rare times I actually reached out, I was incredibly impressed with the Academy admissions team.
