I'm a Assistant Command Fitness Leader (ACFL); I'm assuming your "body fat form" is a Body Composition Assessment (BCA) which is done each year during the PFA cycle and which ACFLs conduct. Feel free to PM me and hopefully I can answer any questions.

The Waiting & Speculating has now taken a turn for the worse in my opinion.
DS is thinking that USNA just isn’t that into him. He believes (as do I) that he’s a very strong candidate, but must be lacking something the Navy desires.
There are NROTC Commands that are still communicating with him while the Navy is silent.

I’d prefer Navy, but I understand the frustration with the never ending Rolling Admissions process. More like a Rolling Brick!

Good Luck to everyone.

It is always darkest before dawn. Until your DS gets a TWE, he is still in the hunt. He has only weeks left before he likely will know either way. After waiting months, a few more weeks isn't that much. Best think might be to tell him to stop checking every day and go once a week. Focus on other things and don't talk about USNA. There is nothing wrong with focusing on the plan B some right now. It is hard, believe me I know, but it will help.

It's great you prefer Navy(which I assume means USNA), but what does DS prefer?(rhetorical question)

Yep it’s a roller coaster. Awaiting on the outcome I have determined to support whatever decision my son makes based on that outcome. I’ll understand if he accepts, reapplies, or re deploys. I’m aware they could make him better, he could make them better, it was meant to be, or it wasn’t.

There is an end to the Admissions Process and it is advertised as 15 April. Some folks get pulled in earlier than that but as has been said many times on here, it is not "Rolling Admissions" in the same way that most civilian schools (including the one where I teach) are.

Thanks for the input. I am staying positive about USNA!
Just made another reservation for Labor Day weekend with the intention of spying out my boy at the Navy Football game.
If and when he gets the appointment, I’ll purchase season tickets!

Respectfully, being upset at this point is self imposed. The majority will find out the end of March to middle of April. As per USNA CVW admissions discussion to candidates and as per USNA published info. And as PER all BGO’s on this forum.

So why would there be sour grapes, or disenchantment when we are not even to the end of March yet?

Being notified earlier is just that: early. It doesn’t mean anything about YOUR potential for an appointment.

Y’all are getting antsy. I get it. I had one early December, one from the waitlist mid May. But any self doubt, anxiety, stress, or self imposed doubt is unwarranted bc we aren’t even close to the date yet.

Do you get upset with regular college decision day? Well, your day is before May 1. It’s April 15-ish (yes it can vary by a day or two). That’s 24 more days from now.

Hang in there. Be patient. And hop off the forums if you are being affected by constant submersion. I did that recently myself so can speak to the benefits of taking a break.

There are STILL 24 more days until April 15 (ish).

... so our situation was the reverse. That other school by the wilderness rejected DS in December timeframe. USNA came in March.

OMG CONGRATS!!!!!!!! IM LITERALLY SO HAPPY FOR YOU OMGG

was worried about nothing again 😓😓. finished taping, came back at around 18% bf on some online calculators. Hopefully the full order comes soon!
You’ll be good. DS had to do this same thing last year - he had a FQO in less than 5 days after submitting it.
