USNA Class of 2028 Waiting and Speculating

I have a question for those that have experience from previous years..

Does USNA notify everyone by April 15th whether Accepted, Waitlist or Rejected..?

Why I ask this is because I read some posts that state that in previous years, some were even notified as late as
as May or even June.. Can I assume that these folks were at least notified by April 15th and were on the Waitlist?

Yes, most folks found out by April 15th last year…my DS was notified on April 17th that he was put on a waitlist. He got turned down on May 2nd.

Thanks for the reply and sorry for your DS. So I read correctly to the fact that not everyone finds out by the claimed April 15th date.

I am happy to be representing my country Mongolia at the Naval Academy Class Of 2028!
I can't believe it to be honest. I put blood, sweat and to reach this point, now that I'm here it sounds like a dream.
This is an opportunity of a lifetime and I will do my best to make my country, my former unit, my family, and my beloved proud.
I want to thank everyone in this server from the bottom of my heart. Without your kindness, kinship and wisdom, I couldn't have done it!
See you all at I-Day!
GO NAVY, BEAT ARMY HOOOYAAAH!

In 2021, my son was sent his TWE on APR 28. If remember correctly, there was an earlier mass decline & then this was the 2nd mass decline ….

I've been disqualified for Kawasaki disease for a while now, and since there are only 12 more days until decision, is that too short of a time for USNA to initiate a waiver process and for me to get it completed?

"Most candidates will be notified of their final status by April 15."

Most is the operative word. There are exceptions, but generally, most will receive one of the following by April 15th:

- Turned down
- Offered a full appointment
- Offered a conditional appointment
- Waitlisted
- Offered a NAPS appointment
- NAPS waitlisted
- Offered a Foundation program
