I am not personally involved in the Naval Academy admissions process, but I find the drama surrounding it to be entertaining. As a parent of an Army cadet from West Point, I take pride in the uncertainty that surrounds Naval Academy Admissions.

Portal was updated to a TD earlier. 32 ACT, 3.72 UW GPA, Varsity basketball and XC, leader in ECAs including a military cadet organization, boys state and summer seminar attendee. Will move on to USMA if accepted, if not I have a solid plan B with a NROTC-Marines scholarship at Norwich!

TD today. 34 ACT 1540 SAT 3.9 non weighted GPA from one of the most challenging academic schools in MO, boys state, Eagle Scout, Varsity XC, 4 years Chinese A+ only, NHS, 8 AP classes, leadership in multiple student clubs and Scouts, nomination from MOC Ann Wagner and Senator Josh Hawley. Also TD from USMA.

As of today he is determined to reapply.

Thanks for sharing your DS stats and the recent update. Its very brave to all who share their TD status and stats. All candidates who finished their SA apps are such stellar candidates. It is a very competitive application and stats vary per slate. Makes everyone who are still pending including my DS wonder what are the chances if such stellar stats get TD. Most candidates have an amazing plan B because obviously you guys/gals are the cream of crop. Tomorrow is another day of waiting for the "judgement".
