USNA Class of 2028 Waiting and Speculating

Did anyone's decision come out today that was NOT a waitlist? I have only seen waitlists come out so far. I hope my decision doesn't come soon so I don't get waitlisted. :)

Well like @Ivy22 said, 51% is technically majority. Most candidates who put in their app have gotten feedback of some sort. 60 out of thousands of applicants is the minority

For those designated as a Principal Nominee by a MOC, did it indicate so on your portal anywhere? It never did for my DS and now I'm wondering if there could've been an oversight. After reports of people getting Turned Down messages by mistake last week, we know mistakes can happen.

It makes you think how the process works. For people like me with a med DQ but no waiver initiated. So many different scenarios. They must’ve looked at my app because I’m not TWE yet. But they didn’t initiate a waiver so they haven’t decided I’m admitted yet. But if they aren’t decided they haven’t put me on the waitlist yet. So right now is it a decision between waitlist and TWE? Are they holding off on any decision because I am academically qualified and they are working on my waiver and they haven’t notified me. At this point I’m intrigued more than I am nervous lol.

Just checked - still pending with a DQ here in NY!

I believe MOC staffers upload a formatted slate via portal to USNA, with appropriate designations and method used.

Though USMA and USAFA are forced to offer an appointment to a p-nom if fully qualified, a slight difference in the legal language allows USNA not to. Most of the time, they do.
