USNA TWE

If you don’t mind me asking... did you get a nomination?

Goodluck in your future! I hope you decide to give it another try!

Last week I received my TWE for the Naval Academy, and I just wanted to thank everyone on this thread for the immense amount of help they give. I'm really not too sure if I'm going to reapply, but if I do I hope to see some of you in the class of 2024!

Thank you for considering a career of service. Just remember that although this door has closed, there are many other paths that lead to receiving a commission as an officer in the US Navy. Embrace Plan B and then reevaluate the decision to reapply after you have had a chance to decompress a bit. Good luck.

15 Navy - you are a damn fine American. I respect the heck out of anyone with the motivation and energy to complete this process. I never had the guts or the determination to try it.

USNA is a damn fine institution. But at the end of the day when a young Ensign hits the fleet, nobody, and I mean ABSOLUTELY NOBODY gives a rats red rump what commissioning source you came from. The only thing they want to know is if you can do the job they have for you, and if they can trust you with their life. Hopefully that reality puts all that comes before it a little bit more into perspective.
