Is that black over gray? Or the navy blue that is just a snick away from black
? With a white collared shirt and knotted black (?) tie? Is there a little stand-up collar to either side of the white collar?
And please, let someone for once make military uniform pants that work for a woman’s body, though I recognize these are likely prototypes. Guaranteed the horizontal edge of the woman’s blouse (service jacket) falls precisely along the widest part of her rear, unless there is a pointy hem in the back to match the front.
I assume they are trying for a joint, forward-looking, 21st century, non-retro, dissimilar to all current uniforms in the U.S. services, breakthrough look.
Still processing…trying not to do the usual veteran grousing about great uniforms done away with and new uniforms that need to be grumbled about. I am still at the “um…oh my” stage.
Edit: Her pants always fit well, looked comfy, and held up well with good ease of movement in combat situations. You know who I’m gonna attach here. Even the service dress uniform and white mess dress/formal uniforms were tailored and snazzy. You know the comparisons are out there, but…processing.
