Received beautiful acceptance letter yesterday; DS is overjoyed.

Awesome and welcome to an extraordinary family. Look on Facebook for a VMI Parents page. There are 2 or 3 different ones that are "open". You should find good info there. There is also usually a restricted Facebook page for the parents of each class. (That page when/if created is usually pretty restricted and you have to ask to enter and "prove" you are a parent of a VMI cadet of that particular class.) Usually you can find out if your DS "class" Rat Mass 2019+3 has a page from one of those open pages.

Thank you for your kind words. I will be sure to head over to the VMI Parents page. We have a lot to learn. I saw an audiobook on Amazon, too, which I hope proves helpful.

I just began reading. Author is mother of two VMI grads. Appears to be very informative so far. I actually began making quick notes for myself to assist with calendar planning this year

Just started reading same/similar book on Kindle, in case DS is able to accept appointment. Seems really informative so far!

Also, you should have received information to request a member of the VMI Parents Council to follow up with a phone call. This can be a great way to get your questions answered as well. Council members are parents of current cadets, so they've been through it before, and not long ago so their information is pretty current.
