I know it's still only February, but I've been getting really antzy! I feel like my application has read "Candidate" forever and it seems like everyone's already getting their appointments. It's starting to worry me a little bit...Anyone else in this situation?
 
there are still 1200+ appointments to go out, mainly in march...

patience :)
 
Most of the people with appointments already had loa's. I'm in there with you, just hang tight man

HAHA me too, Ive got like the weeks of mass mailing written down in my phone. Every morning of those to weeks I will get a nice reminder to check the mail, which I do everyday anyway. haha :thumb:
 
Yea me too. I always check the online application too. I found my nominations there before I got a letter lol
 
haha I found out about one of them from there and havent been notified from the senators office yet haha

Hi guys..
My daughter and I are waiting as well. This is all she wants. Her back-ups have come through, some nice offers too, but she does not even really care. At least we are now nearly done, we just have to try and not go insane before then. :thumb: You are lucky you are all young.. when you get to be an old parent, I swear the worry gives you gray hair!!!

Anyways.. did you send in your 7th semester transcripts? or does AFA ask for them from guidance. She got a C in AP physics she was not thrilled about.. actually she was thrilled because it is so hard... but not thrilled to share it with admissions.

Remember we are all in the same boat (but not the Navy's). Keep your chins up.. stay healthy, focused and remember the humility and patience you are learning now....when you finally do get the package. It will be so sweet.

Good luck to everyone.. and know that you are not alone. I am sure we all pray for the mailman every night!!!
 
My son got a C in calculus -- and it was a dual-enrolled course with a 4-year college his sister goes to and he was helping her with HER homework. So the same "thrill/not thrilled" as your D. But still the C so he too points out that he got a postcard saying his file was "complete," that he has a principal nomination, and thus, why rock the boat! :smile:

Did you call your admissions counselor and try to explain the C? I dont know but i think it helps since you're showing some initiative. But then again, doesnt matter since you have the principal nomination, so congratulations!
 
I will send my 7th semester transcript when my school makes them up D: my marking period ended two weeks ago, next week they will be done.
 
I hate this waiting, but it is one of the skills needed to be an officer
I still check atleast twice a day to see if my online app. changes
 
Hey man, I'm waiting as well. Looking at the application page everyday, as well as the mailbox. We all will suffer together I guess! Hope to see ya there.

My mouse drifts ever so slowly to my bookmarked application page without my knowledge. Some times I'm researching a topic for school and wonder how i ended up checking my status lol.
 
And after I saw this topic, I went and checked my status again.... Still nervous even though I have nom & LOA.
 
fyi they only update the application page monday and thursday morning. so things won't change until then. lol
