Hello,

Naval Academy just notified me stating that they have received my nomination. Everything is complete and now I am officially waiting. I am taking as many SAT exams as I can to maximize my scores but other then that, I am completely done with my application to USNA now.

I know this is a vague question but would it be possible for me to find out if I got in or not by December?

I assume you have a Presidential nom.

You may hear by December . . . or you may not. Seriously. USNA can offer appointments to candidates who are 3 Q'ed with at least one nom right away. However, they may decide to wait until they have a better understanding of the overall qualifications of applicants. So, even candidates who are 3 Q'ed with a nom (other than an MOC principal nom) may end up waiting until Jan - April to get the word.

My DS is 3Q (according to his BGO) with pres nom- all complete submitted since early Sept and waiting.... He is excited to be invited to CVW next week and maybe he will get some inside scoop as to where he is in the stack. Best of luck and sit tight!
