My status changed on Dodmerb site yesterday.
Medical waiver denied for NROTC. Will that carry over to USNA?
From what I understand it is the same waiver authority, but the status hasn't changed for USNA as of yet.
Obviously, what would be my next step???

Did you have a LOA to USNA? What was wrong with your eyes?

I am waiting for a vision wavier too, your situation is making me nervous...

I'm sorry to hear about the waiver.

As I've stated before, it is possible for an applicant to be denied for NROTC and be approved for USNA and vice versa, but most of the time the decisions are the same.

If you feel that the waiver authority has made an incorrect decision, you can request that they look at the file again. Send the request to DoDMERB and they will forward it on to the waiver authorities.
