Does anyone know how or when candidates for SLE Summer Leader Experience 2022 will be notified of either selection or non-selection? (Portal? Email?) The website said “in April” but I’m just wondering if it has been a rolling admissions (as in past years) or if others have heard positive or negative on their status. Thanks!

Today is supposed to be the deadline to hear back from them. I know some have heard of acceptances but I have not heard of anyone being denied yet.

I didn't know if today was the deadline or not. NASS is specific about it and says April 15th but SLE just says mid April.

I was notified via email which was in my SPAM folder

My daughter submitted her application in early February, and got an email stating her application had been received and that notifications would be sent out by April 15 (the date was specified). However, I know they changed the deadline to apply sometime after that, so, I guess it's possible they also changed the deadline for notification. We only found out yesterday, though, about the SLE notifications going to spam for some gmail accounts, so, hopefully, that didn't happen to her and get deleted. She did check her west point candidate account and the only official correspondence listed is some general info from the candidate technician for our region dated from early February. I don't know if SLE would show up under the official correspondence, though. Maybe someone who has been accepted knows?

I received an acceptance email (in SPAM) March 8th. Even after marking it wasn't SPAM, everything since then has still come to SPAM. I hope you hear soon...Good Luck!!!

Add their e mail to ur address book or set ur e mail to move that particular e mail to a folder. That could help avoid the spam issue

I just recieved a decline for SLE over email. Oh well.

My DD got her denial yesterday. It was so exciting for about three seconds because the preview said "(Name), Your application is very impressive, so we are plea..."

Whoops.

It did come to her regular (not spam) email.

Scratch that I just went to SPAM and had an email asking my preferred session, workshops, and clothing sizes.

I just got the same thing. If you go to that page and fill it out it says to reply by April 15. I wonder if we missed an earlier email in our spam or if maybe we are the last in, or waitlisted. I saw another thread that says if you got that it means you are in, but I'm not so sure.

Who knows, either way I filled it out and apparently just now my application is "completed"
