Hi everyone, I am a high school senior and I'm wanting to know my chances at a 3 or 4 year AROTC Scholarship. Here are my stats:
3.85 unweighted GPA, 4.27 weighted (on 5.0 scale)
1220 SAT
3 AP classes taken so far, I signed up for 5 this year
45 pushups/min, 56 situps/min, 5:40 timed mile
2 years varsity spring track, 1 year varsity indoor track, 2 years varsity cross country (so far for all those)
Indoor track spotlight athlete sophomore year
Won my school's AP US History award junior year
Cross country co-captain
2 years working at the YMCA, as a camp counselor and sports referee
3 years volunteering at YMCA summer camp, 280 hours total
Student Government member
Member of NTHS and NHS, as well as English, Social Studies, and Science Honor societies and 3 other clubs
Leadership positions within the clubs
Led and organized pep rallys
Done multiple service projects
I felt like the PMS interview went really well also

NB, the last SAT date that can qualify for the March 2021 AROTC (third and final) board is next Saturday, December 5.

As stated above - SAT is at the minimum acceptance level. Look into some self prep courses to get the score up.

Fantastic mile time. Underwhelming SAT. No teams sports doesn't help. But certainly a solid record of accomplishments and strong on volunteer work so you should be proud. Good luck!

Lot's of schools are not even requiring the SAT or ACT this year ...This may work in your favor. So keep a positive attitude and keep up the good work. I'm sure you'll be good...
