What Happened to Boxing?

"Right now they route specials to go to classes offbase at a local athletic club. These classes are mostly focused on the cardio and technique aspects rather than the actual fighting itself. No sparing."

I would be 100% okay with that. Still don't love seeing my DS getting punched in the face. The first couple times he sparred; I stayed home. Too much to bear.

I just heard back from LT Mary Leon about the boxing program. This is what she told me: She has heard that it is going to be a cardio boxing club. It will not be competitive and will go off base to practice. That is all she knows at this time.
