Hi...I was nominated by 3 sources: President (in Sept), Senator (December), and most recently my MOC, do I compete with other candidates on all three slates? My admissions counselor said that my info was not submitted until the Jan board, I had updated ACTs that I submitted in Dec (ACT of 36).
I have not heard a thing...still CPR like many.

You will compete in all three nomination categories. Of the 600-700 Presidential nominations, only 100 can be appointed. For every slate of 10 noms, your MOCs can be officially charged 1 appointment. Those not selected from their slate are then sent to the national pool to compete for any remaining appointments needed to fill the class. If you are selected for an appointment, having the 3 noms gives the academy more flexibility on where to officially charge your nom, so you may not ever know exactly where your were charged, and you still my not hear of your appointment until 15 April.

DS heard from his Senator today and has 3 noms. Senator asked if he had a call from the congresswoman also. He did not. But now he has an appointment!
