I like watching the medal matches of some less popular sports. I got really invested in the mixed doubles table tennis match yesterday!
As far as sports, I'm not a fan of sports where someone has to tell you how well you did. I appreciate the skill and fitness needed, but there's always a controversy when points of view are brought into the sport.
In high school and college I was a distance runner, so I'm going to be glued to the TV when track starts!
Post script: I taught the helm of the women's 470 sailing crew when she was in prep school. I'm staying up late for the prelims! Go Nikki, Go USA!

so true, our DD played 8 years, varsity 4 years in HS, and travel ball. She got to play on the AZ Wildcats field and had Coach Candrea coach her and other players for a week-long camp. Great memories.
Loved it, and miss it. I recorded the game this morning, too. Mums the word people!
