Yes, as Brian said, just hurry up and wait.
Can you be notified earlier than March? Most definitely. Will you? Heck if I or anyone else knows. Appointments are given out continuously from October til April with a few late minute replacements in the May/June time frame. The October crowd are Non-MOC Nominees. (MOCs haven't had their nominations yet, but presidential, vp, rotc, etc... nominations have been done. So some of these individuals who have way above average applications may get appointments then). Also; if they have some stellar applicants who have their entire application done NLT September, but they still need a nomination, say from their congressman, they may receive an LOA in the October/November time frame. This whole Oct/Nov appointment/LOA crowd, might be about 10% of the appointments. Then there will be some stragglers between December and February. These are LOA's that their MOC's finally got their nominations done, a few non-moc nominees, and possibly even a person like yourself, who the academy might believe based on passed data, is definitely way up their on the scoring. But the majority; 70-80% of all appointments, are going to be given out in March/April.
Hang in there. Hurry up and wait. Have all your backup schools and applications in place for them. And best of luck to you. Mike...
