My DS did not apply in time for Board #1, and his current status is Board Ready. Has anyone had a status change yet?

Mine is still B/UC. I'm assuming we won't know anything until later in the week or maybe next week. My PMS was telling me that there's way more applicants to grade on this board than any other.

In the past (varies) the portal will move from Boarded to B/UC during the selection process - If you move back to Boarded from B/UC, that usually is a good sign. Check your school choices as well - once they are locked - it could also be good.

So many variables...Good luck

My sons is saying "board ready" still, not "boarded" or B/UC. Does that mean they haven't reviewed it yet? The status did say that it would be reviewed during the Jan 25th board.

Was his file ready for the first board? If it was, then it should say "Boarded/UC" but if he is submitting his file the first time then "board ready" just means it hasn't been reviewed yet, yes.

Should still be B/UC (like mine) until either today or the end of the week when they start changing statuses. If I remember back to the first board some were even changed the following Monday. Patience and good luck :)

My son is still board ready as of this morning (1100). Hoping for some movement this week.

I wonder if the board goes alphabetically? or random or by score.
Good question. We were in the kitchen this morning with our current AROTC senior discussing how the Army starts the review. Is there a preliminary OML maybe? Is it first in first reviewed?

This is true in most years, but this year it might not be. Anyone that does not have an ACT or SAT score will not be considered until the 3rd board, and they are only given a score of 998. So, maybe there will be fewer applicants in this round?? Would love to know afterwards if applications were down this year because of COVID.
