What's your status for AROTC Board #2?

The waiting is worse than the application process, at least it is right now, 😂 No updates for us yet....Still Board Ready
 
April definitely seems like a stretch. I got an email from a PMC I was corresponding with right before the board convened, said that he expects the results to be uploaded by the first or second week of February. Definitely hoping for sooner, but I've already waited this long, another week or two won't be too bad.
 
In October my DD went from Board Ready to Boarded/Under Consideration to Boarded and then her school choices were locked on Thursday and then she logged onto DoDMERB (she also applied to SAs) and saw that US ARMY ROTC was listed as an agency requesting her status and within an hour her status changed to WINNER for a 4 year scholarship. Keeping positive thoughts and vibes for everyone, very exciting times!! DD has been accepted to her top 2 schools as of today, waiting on number 3!
 
What happens if I do not get any of the schools that I listed but I get the scholarship? This may well happen because I listed 5 Ivy Leagues, UCLA, and Berkeley

To my understanding you are able to request a school change after getting the scholarship but isn't guaranteed. I would say the best bet is to put atleast a few schools you feel you have comfortable chances of being admitted. However don't quote me on this. This is the approach I took.

I was referring to the results after the 3rd and final board. So yes - many candidates will not have a final answer until April. Good luck.
 
For those who said their school of intent list was locked, what does that look like? My daughter's looks exactly the same as it did and still allows her to change school order or add/subtract schools. Her application was moved to B/UC yesterday.

It says something along the lines of “This page is read only. “

Typically the school lock occurs when you are moved from B/UC to Boarded. The theory is that CC is allocating the scholarships to the various schools and they lock it so no changes will be made. Could all be different this year though.
 
Has anyone had any problems today accessing the Cadet Command webpage to check your application?
