When AFROTC results come out

I received a 4 year Type 2 AFROTC scholarship with a Technical Major!!! Email received 10 minutes ago! Good luck to everyone else waiting.

Can someone let me know what their portal status said after their interview was completed? My son interviewed on February 8th and his portal still says he will be contacted for an interview. I am worried there was an error in submitting his interview summary. This wouldn’t be that unexpected because our last name is also a male first name and my son is a jr. , so people frequently get his name incorrect. Can anyone put my mind at ease or should we be panicking and contacting tech support?

Your status should change once your interview has been uploaded. Contact them immediately

Thank you...he received an email that his interview had not been submitted. It said no action is necessary if you have already completed the interview and that it should be submitted shortly. I was concerned and had him email anyway, just to check, but nothing back. However, his classmate that interviewed at the same location that same week also received this email. Is it normal for it to take over 20 days for the interview to be uploaded? He already missed the February boards, and it looks like it might not be in for next week either. That doesn't seem very timely to me, but I am not familiar with the process.

On a separate note, do they send notification via mail if the student does or does not receive the scholarship? My son really likes getting his acceptances the old fashioned way. He is clearly not like his mother, who would be checking the email/portal several times a day.

My DS interviewed prior to the Feb board and he received the same email, after checking the portal for another week he forwarded the email to the interviewer and got a response that there was an issue with the site. Within a day or so the interview was uploaded and he is good to go this last round. Maybe he should contact the person who interviewed him to see if he has already uploaded it. Last boards begin tomorrow.

Thank you, we will contact the office where he interviewed. But if I am not mistaken there is another week of boards starting 3/18.

My status was updated the day of the interview, but it depends on where you interview.
 
DS received a Type 7 AFROTC any major scholarship. He now has to decide ROTC or Academy. Not a bad choice just a stressful one.
