Hello, I had my congressional nomination interview today. I just wanted to ask if anyone knows how long it usually takes for the congressional board to get back in contact with you to inform you if you received the nomination or not. I will be of course emailing the person in charge of the interviews this question as well, but in the meantime, I wanted to see if anyone here knows how long it usually takes.

My DS had his interview on 10/17 and received his nomination call on 10/25. He said they stated in the interview they would be reaching out by 10/26. From what I am reading every state seems a bit different. We are in CT.

Every state is different because every state's MOC has different deadline and interviews. It all depends on the MOC.

This. I would trust what your staffer or the person in charge of applications that you've been emailing says.

DS is waiting for his interviews in SOCAL.

Waiting to hear about whether he will get one at all from any of the three state sources, or waiting to hear back on a nom after an interview?

Very helpful to others if you can break that down and also state what congressional district.

Same issue in the main nom thread (where this thread should be)!

DS applied for his nominations to CA 45th congressional district and two senators. He hasn't been scheduled for any interviews.

Remember that every MOC is free to run his/her own process. Slates are due to the SAs on 1/31. You can be notified anytime between now and then. Your best bet is to ask the MOC’s staff directly. Information here is anecdotal and specific to MOCs, so clearly YMMV.

Last year when I applied for my state/district, I got all three noms. I was notified via letter in the mail around late December and one early January. It also shows up in the application portal. Waiting's the hardest part, I know ;_;

That's interesting, NJ-11 (Sherrill) are scheduled for this coming weekend.
DS is NJ-12 and had Senator Booker/Menendez combined interview this past weekend and has his Rep Watson-Coleman interview this coming Saturday.

Yes, my bad, I was referring to having senatorial interviews this past weekend. Rep. Sherrill's interviews are this coming Saturday, which seems to be the day when some NJ Reps are holding interviews.

I know it's different but I'm just curious has DS seen anything on the site about the timeframe of when they hold interviews for your district? Just curious as I'm CA-46

DS is patiently waiting. He hasn't been notified by any offices for interviews, nor seen anything on site. Perhaps it'll be conducted in December. He didn't receive Senator Feinstein's return postcard. And he had to resubmit Senator Harris's application, because their San Francisco office misplaced it. We're also looking for someone to administer his CFA. It really is a marathon.

Not to throw a wrench in this. My DS, who is a youngster at USNA had interview early from a committee for a retiring congressman who was running and now is governor. He was never informed nomination just showed up on West Point and Navy portal. Also didn't communicate with Senators because he received a Senate nomination too....

I got notified VIA email a couple weeks before my interview providing the date time. And then a week before my interview I got another email regarding the specific instructions for the virtual interview.

DS just got an email from Sen. Feinstein's office to schedule interview in early December
