My DS received a four year. Schools are VMI, Citadel, Norwich. To winners from this first board, where was your scholarship offered to? Just curious
Carnegie Mellon, DD accepted in Early Decision and has enrolled for the fall. Will also play a fall sport. 4-year
As a WFU grad, I can’t say enough good things about the quality of education there. For me, it was a great fit.4 year for DD: Wake Forest, Liberty, Lander Univ
which school did she choose? Or has a choice been made yet? I ask b/c My son graduates from Norwich this year and my daughter is hoping to go there next year as wellMy DS received a four year. Schools are VMI, Citadel, Norwich.
Cool thing about Duke: they offer and ED 2 option for 4-year scholarship recipients. I’m not sure if the deadline has passed for RD applications, but if your DD applied, they should look for an email from Duke about that. I basically got informally accepted to Duke last February this way.My DD got a 4-year to her top 3: Washington & Lee, Villanova, and Virginia Tech. What was interesting was the number of AROTC detachments that reached out to her and asked her to apply to their schools once she was awarded the 4-year. Apparently they aren't very tough to transfer to another school if the detachment has a spot for you. Convinced her to apply to a couple other places, like Cornell and Duke.
My DS was awarded AFROTC Scholarship. How do we find out where his scholarship will be offered. Is this based on the colleges that he selected in his application? To winners from this first board, where was your scholarship offered to? Just curious
