Winter Break - for Admissions?

So it’s winter break over at USAFA. Is the admissions office closed for the next couple of weeks too? Should we not expect any portal updating or appointments until 2023? Thanks.

Probably not. While Cadets get pretty much blanket leave, the active duty and civilian staff operate on the regular Military and/or Civil Service leave system where you get X days per year. Military leave is day for day (including weekends/holidays so chances are that few will take 3 weeks (21 days) for this as it will just about wipe out a years worth of leave at one time. That said, things certainly might be slower, especially as you get to the last couple of days before each holiday.

Admissions won't be "closed" however the people that work their can take vacation over the holidays and many do.

Things may slow down...a bit.
