If you haven't been playing this new daily word game 'craze,' I highly recommend it. My family has been enjoying it every day since New Year's Day.

The creators of the game choose a random 5 letter word-of-the-day once every 24 hours. Your job is to figure out that word in 6 tries or less. If your guess word has a letter in a correct location of the actual word, it will be highlighted in green. If your word has letters that are correct but not in the right location, they are highlighted in yellow. Any incorrect letter is greyed out. It's a matter of logic and luck from that point on.

What I find most enjoyable is that the entire world gets the same word every day. And there is only one word per day, so you're not wasting your day playing this game. It takes about 5 mins to play each day.

Cool, so I got today's word (on 4th row/attempt), enjoyed it and found you can press the "today's word" button that toggles it to random and you get another word... Really lucked out on that one and got it in 3 tries. Cool tip is the keyboard displays letters in gray if they are not part of the word, that helps make the guessing more efficient.

I’ve played a few times and got today’s using all 6 tries. I like the one a day puzzle. How do you get your score though? I like numbers.

I've been using 'mouse' lately.

I’ve settled into:
ORATE first, rules some frequent letters in or out, and if the word ends in E.

Then, depending on Line 1 results, I will try one of 3 words:
LUNGS, SLING, SLIMY
Helps with Y or S at word end, assesses U, I, L and N.
I am usually able to solve at Line 3 or 4, occasionally 2. I talk out loud a lot…

I did some archive puzzles today. Was circling the drain on this one but had a good neuron fire-up.

I used my usual “orate” to start, had the E. Tried two different words using rest of vowels and all different consonants. Used the only word I could think of with what was left. I’ll leave it for the day now.
