Hello. Is it normal that a MOC decides no to interview or participate in the nomination process? I believe the deadline is January 31st to post nominations so is it usual that a MOC waits until January tp set up Nomination interviews?
I dropped off completed package in person to the office of Rep Carlos Gimenez (FL 26) back in October and never heard anything from his office after that, no interview dates, no updates, total silence.
I’m trying to figure out if he interviewed but I was just not picked, so has anyone heard from Rep Carlos Gimenez office at all?

Anything could be “normal,” as the process for selecting their nominees is completely their choice.

Did they not respond to you when you emailed or called to follow up?

Thank you for replying. It happens to be that Rep Gimenez office is minutes from my house, so I picked up the application package in person (online link was having technical issues) and actually had the opportunity of sitting for a few minutes and have a conversation with the person in charge of the nominations program. Deadline was November 1st, I turned in completed package in person in October. On November 24 I visited his office to ask for updates but the person in charge was not there, so I left her a message, never heard back
I check my email spam folder on a regular basis, so I have not missed their email
I do have a senatorial nomination already,
I’m just curious to know if anyone got interviewed and maybe they just chose no to interview me and simply did not update me on that.
 
Looks like Senator Warner sent out his nominations. Has anyone seen one for USNA? Or has anyone received a rejection letter?

Would you? My son’s emails are from intern Laalitya Acharya, who I do not think was the interviewer.
 
I received letters and phone calls from my congressman and both my senators, and they all have nominated me to USMMA, what should I do with 3 nominations to the same place? Does it help me at all? I already have an LOA to USMMA, also.

I was notified by email but the email said that they were also sending out letters. Sue Klein, the same person who has been doing all the communication, sent it.
