Best service uniform

Air force officers should just stick to their USAFA uniforms which look way better imo.

Not all of the AF officers went to USAFA, thus, they couldn't. Additionally, some of the specimens I've seen lately, that graduated a couple of decades ago, couldn't fit into theirs.:yllol:
 
I wish they'd brought back Class-A Khakis with shoulder boards for USN Officers. :frown:

This is very intriguing. The school's mascot is a sterile animal, the offspring of a male donkey. Cadets wear, on their uniform, homage to this sire. It's just too Freudian for me. Anyone have any clues?:confused: :shake:

And I played golf Saturday with a Woop. Even though he said it was a mule, I would swear that the head cover for his driver was a donkey. Didn't check for any appendages though.

Nice pics! I got fitted for all my uniforms (7 total) yesterday at MMA. Boy did I look good in my blue dress uniform with my cover on. My mom said I looked like a "real" Lady. I could wear that everyday and not get sick of it. lol. When it comes to uniforms the military deff has a great sense of fashion!
 
Nice Leysa. A uni for every occasion! Son could wear his dress whites to sleep in I think. He loves 'em. But me, I adore those dress blues. Classy as all get out.
 
I'll never forget my uncle's graduation from Annapolis in 1961. The handsome dress white-wearing cadets were awe inspring for a seven year old! My brother and I appropriated one of the tossed covers (no money in it) and kept it for many years. So, of course, I like the Navy dress whites best!

That Norwich uniform is the best looking of all the cadet uniforms I have seen.

It is nice to think about uniforms instead of thin vs. fat letters!

I think the USAFA service dress looks better than the AD Air Force ones.

I guess I am a bit biased; wanting to go to the USNA and also having family in the Navy. I still argue though that the marine corps has the best uniform :thumb: . Thanks for the laugh though :).

I was down at Abbott's Uniform shop in Pensacola the other day talking about this exact topic. Apparently in the latest Navy Task Force Uniform they added back the Class-A Khakis and the CNO said yes, but then asked for a price on how much they would cost. The answer was over 600 dollars so they were shelved. I would love to see them as an optional uniform though, that way those who had the money and wanted to could wear them.
 
You know whats kinda funny and neat is the fact at MMA i'll be wearing Navy uniforms but when I go out into the Coast Guard fleet i'll be wearing Coastie uniforms. Personally my dad like the CGA mess dress coat better the the Navy ones they had at MMA. I'd have to agree with him on that one.
