This is the one time of year I will grudgingly pull for the accursed loathsome Wolverines. I despise Notre Dame with an unbridled passion.

By the way, last spring we took in an abused stray boxer our neighbor found. Just yesterday it dawned on my wife why I named him Brutus...
 
I could not agree more, Scoutpilot!! We, too, will be grudginly, quietly, pulling for... I can hardly type it... Michigan! :eek: Although, I actually want Michigan to do fairly well this year... will make beating them in November all the more sweet!!

So sorry your wife doesn't share your enthusiasm for the BuckeyeNation! Although... I had to indoctrinate my DH when we were first married! He became a Bucks fan, I was introduced to MLB and became a Reds fan. Gotta love the give-and-take!! :smile:

That final drive was insane. Thankfully active duty members can watch the Black Knights online for free. Great game, rabble!

Army didn't have such a great experience as a member of Conference USA and I don't see this as much of a benefit to the 3 major Academies who they are trying to woo into the remains of the Big East. Being an independent seems to give a lot more flexibility in scheduling and I kind of suspect that it will limit their national exposure if they tie into a reformatted Big East.

Notwithstanding your condescending remarks (big surprise :rolleyes:), the phrase "If you had xxxx + xx (insert team that lost by a large margin) you lost!" was a signature saying of nationally-known sportscaster Warner Wolf.

What a shame you have to make snide comments on a service academy winning a football game to serve an ego.

If mocking the victory of a smaller academy's football team with a "clash of titans" comment makes you feel superior, perhaps making no post at all would have been the wiser choice?

Take the log out of your own eye before looking for the splinters in someone else's.

Or tell us all about how Army football did yesterday against perennial powerhouse Ball State. :rolleyes:
