Out of curiosity, will appointments keep coming out today? I see quite a bit of people being appointed, but my portal hasn't updated yet. Once again, thanks for all you do, and for helping all of us on this journey!


US Air Force Academy (Admissions) The next round of offers will be visible on the portal next week sometime.
 
And another FB post from admissions:


Offers of appointment will continue to go out for the rest of the month, and non-select letters will go out in early April (refer to Instructions to Candidate, page 26). Prep/Falcon foundation offers will continue to be offered into May. Hope this answers some of your questions!

:thumb: Congrats! Same here shortly before 4 am! My last name usually had me near the front of class so possibly in alphabetical order. I didn't notice until late in the day due to other duties keeping me out of the office.
 
It is not alphabetical. My last name begins with a c.
It's really interesting, though, because I was deferred from early action January 15. I figured that would let me go to the regular selections board earlier, but apparently not.
 
Not according to the appointee thread.
Candidates from Texas, California, Oklahoma, Connecticut, Illinois, and more received appointments today.
I'm Missouri.
 
I'm not sure about that. I am in VA-02 and received notification of portal update this morning at 4:52 like many others.
 
I am in SC-01 and I have not received notification. My portal still says released 19 Mar 2014. Hoping for the best!
 
I'm in PA-15 and have not received anything, but I know others in PA have. But if you haven't seen admissions posted on Facebook that appointments would continue to go out throughout march and rejections would be sent out in early April. So don't jump off a bridge just yet.

Possibly on when they receive the notification from your senator or congressman giving you a nomination? I'm not sure when presidential is given, but I'm from maryland and my nomination didn't make it to my application till late January, about 6 weeks after my letter from him, i haven't seen any other Maryland applicants saying they had been accepted, all just waiting. Otherwise, there could be no method to the madness. Good luck guys and gals!

I'm from PA-15 too and I haven't heard anything either! Best of luck to you
 
We were also one of those parents who found out about our DS appointment very early this morning. Couldn't wait for him to wake up and get the great news. Can you say "Proud Parents!"
