He has received a congressional nom, has a weighted gpa of 4.03, unweighted 3.85, average of 650 on all parts of SAT whick I know is not amazing but he also just re took them and the scores are not in yet), varsity football captain, has many awards for football & received one scholarship for football so far, he thinks he did ok on CFA -- was planning on retaking to improve his scores on that also, passed the medical. He did have to get a form filled out for BMI where an army recruiter took height, weight and measurements but according to the staff sargeant he passed and we were supposed to hear if he did not and have until 2/13/12 to re test. He has taken numerous AP classes, calculus, physics, even classes at our community college during the summer. I would understand if he got denied, I just did not think it would happen so soon. He is hesitant to question it because he does not want to appear to be a whiner.
IMPO, he is missing community service types of things (i.e. helping out at church, being in a club of that kind). Everything else looks amazing though, I wish him luck wherever he goes.
~Hopeful for 2017 just trying to help out~
