It's been doing this off and on all day today.

This morning it would not open and then later in the day it worked fine, now it's off line again.

There were no updates when it started working at times during the day.

I do believe the site acted strange like this just a few days before the results came out for the last board, then again it could just be a glitch, remember that the Dodmerb site was down for nearly 2 months. Hopefully they don't use the same IT guy.

It must be due to us psychotic parents checking the status every 15 minutes:rolleyes:
 
Has anyone who opened files at SAs but did not go through with DODMERB receive anything from DODMERB in the mail regarding scheduling tests in the past few days? I got my packet last June in the mail because I had opened files at USAFA and USMA (Went as far as getting a congressional nomination to USAFA and then realize the Air Force wasn't for me). Am I supposed to get a letter soon? The only contact I got through DODMERB was the addition of US ARMY ROTC as an agency on my DODMERB file. I have yet to find the time to go to my physician. Is this basically the same as them contacting me to get a physical done for the purpose of Army ROTC? It wouldn't make sense to send another packet out, right?

Yes I did too. I was excited because at first I saw something different but it's just an updated page saying that if you have everything in that's required, you're board ready.

New status..they changed it..but it still says we need an interview...how funny is that!!
 
I too was excited at first. But I already knew I was board ready quite a long time ago.:confused: Why do you think this change already...?
 
I think they're trying to make it more efficient than what it was. For example, someone thinking that they had everything in could sit through 1 or 2 board meetings and not even know that they have something missing.

torture?.. Its the first I've heard of anything like this.
 
My status changed as well. I don't know what to think but I am hoping it means good things(like everyone else).

Funny that it says I have Medical missing yet have been DoD qualified since November:shake: Can't....Take....The.... Wait.... anylonger!! :eek:
 
Its just a software update that was requested months ago. Nothing to do with any pending results.

Agree. This will be a great new update available for next years applicants and boards, also explains why the site was acting "funny" earlier. Though I did have to laugh bjkuds pointed out all us parents hitting refresh every 3 minutes probably isn't helping the server stay stable. Oh, and yes, the system does act crazy just before and during the actual updates(it went down briefly during the updates for January board)

oh, just for the record, I checked DS's status for the first time in weeks just to see the new page: I trust all of you to share when the time has come.
 
DS' status changed as well - my thoughts are that since the website has not been up to par all year, the webmasters have been working on it for a long time and they just now got it fixed so items received can be shown/updated. I think it's just another step in improving their website, don't think it has anything to do with scholarship notification. Just my opinion...

Just me, but I'd call CC tomorrow to make sure about the DodMERB being on file with them...oh, and if you get the chance, ask when they are being told the results will come out...:rolleyes::eek:

Agree totally...CAN'T...TAKE...THE...WAIT...but know we have to, it will be fine -- have my bottle of vino in the frig ready for results day!!

I think this group has waited so long that not only will we share the news via SAF you will probably year some of us if you listen closely outside, or if you keep your windows open:yllol:

AHHH! Why doesn't CC have my medical? I've been DoDMERB qualified since the summer (West Point) but it says I am qualified on the DoDMERB status website!!! :confused: :confused:
