I saw that prepswimmom and currey had some math, so here is my take. This is the number of appointments per day for he last two years, taken from the appointment threads.

This year we are probably behind the curve because of the weather

I am so happy to be part of this group of anxious parents. This gives me hope and I spend a couple hours each day reading the posts. We are even on a worst situation since we live in the island of Guam (military) and our mail is behind for about 4 days.....this has been worst than when I was waiting for my college acceptance 30 years ago!!! Many Prayers to all...
 
My DD got something in the mail today. A T-shirt from option C.
I am also appreciative of the anxious company. May we all get super duper fat envelopes soon. Sdfe! :)

I found this on the USMA forum page....
Facebook West Point Admissions page as of 5 hours ago:

"As of today, we have 609 candidates who have accepted appointments to join the Class of 2018. There are 317 who are currently still in the "offered" status. Candidates may want to contact their regional commander for a status update."

I couldn't find anything similar, anywhere, for USNA.

And they won't tell you anything over the phone. I understand the anxiety so I'm hoping you all get great news soon.
