I always thought that the wait would be strung out this late for me. At least it looks like I have company!

If a TWE comes my way ill be taking my Plan B, a 4 year AROTC to VT (hence my username) and reapply for c/o 2020. What's your plan B?

Very nice! I figured from you signature and username. I'll be doing the same! I got a three year to Wheaton College in Chicago. Really love the school and the program. It's just... Not West Point!

We'll see if I reapply. I'll plan on it and get as much work in on it as I can this summer, then I'll reevaluate when the spring roles around.
 
DS just found out he is medically qualified ( had remedial) WP application still says remedial but DoDMERM says qualified. A step in the right direction, now he is 3Q'd though not official yet.
 
Same boat for dd remedial . Medically qualified a week ago. Waiting waiting and waiting... But at least we are on spring break waiting.

We are also on spring break waiting. Waiting is much easier in a log cabin in the smokies than at home!!

This is what I'm looking forward to for DD, no TWE today. Six days and counting!
 
DS's portal updated this afternoon with the "fully qualified, but no offer" letter. Oh well, on to plan B. Good luck to all those still in the game.
 
I take my earlier post back. The torch has been extinguished for me this year. I also received that letter in my portal. I didn't know they sent TWE's via portal, but its right there on my screen in black and white. Good luck to the rest of you waiting! Hooah!
 
Terribly sad to here that vtechroomie1 and Cadet2019. Best of luck with the plan B's! See you all in the Army in a couple of years.

Still nothing new for me...

vtech you seem like a great guy and I hope to see you next year in the class of 2020. Promise me you will re apply and work on your act and I have faith you will make it.

Had DD go to portal immediately, thanks to your note. No change in DD's status. Sorry to hear about DS's portal, it made my heart beat a few quick beats realizing how close it is to April 15 and how one day can change your path. I'm sure your proud of his achievements thus far, and best wishes for plan B.

Thanks civic, I will definitely be reapplying to the c/o 2020. Currently trying to see the bright side of this tough situation. Looks like my plan A was different from God's plan A, but I will trust in Him.

On a side note, maybe when I made this account back in January, my username was a bad omen....Who knows!

So sad to hear of your portal update. I visited Virginia Tech with my son for grad school, it is a beautiful campus. Hopeful you will enjoy it for only a year! Best wishes for 2020.
 
I checked my DS Portal as soon as I saw this Post, but he is still in the game..... It will be a long 6 days.
