Summer Seminar Acceptance

Applied Dec 19th and received an offer yesterday, the status of the application was "under consideration" for about 10 days...

I applied a few days after the application opened and got accepted like 2-3 days ago and I currently live in MA

Man, NJ must be behind or something. I applied on Day 1, and i've been an applicant (under consideration) almost two weeks!!

At this point, I just want to know SOMETHING, whether it be Accepted/Rejected/Waitlist

Last year DS had his application hung up for quite a few weeks. As I remember, his ALO had to approve it. After he contacted his ALO, he was accepted the next day. But DS was late to apply, like mid-March.

I know it is a challenge to wait, but the wheels in this process just turn slow.

Same, I am getting really anxious waiting.

I know right...I think GA is behind too because I'm in the same situation.

I'm in Cali. . .Are they really starting to accept people starting from the East coast and then moving West? Or is it based on who applies first? Or what ;~|

From Cali... and DS heard he was accepted in January last year. He applied early - first few days of Dec.

I'm from Cali too. I looked back through some of my stuff and I was accepted in the middle of February. (Not March like I had previously thought.) It seemed that last year there were waves of acceptances. A group of people heard in January. Then people started hearing again in February and that's when I got my acceptance. If I remember there was no real system as far as going state-to-state goes.

Anyway, don't try to figure out the system. For the most part it's a mystery. Trying to figure it out will just slowly drive you insane. :shake: Find something productive to occupy yourself, and time will go by quicker.

I agree about not trying to figure out the system, the world may never know! 2 yrs ago DS applied the 1st week it openened up, and didn't hear anything until late March, by then he had already applied to, was offered, and accepted NASS, and Boys State for 2 wks, so he had to turn down USAFA.

Yeah it's definitely not based on who applies first because I applied first day and people who didn't have already been accepted. As for the east to west thing I'm not sure can't really speculate.

Sorry if this has already been ask, but where are you? I'm in AZ and I applied on the second or third day and was accepted on 26 December.

I'm in GA so yeah I guess its definitely not east to west thing either. Congrats on acceptance though. Hoping I get mine soon too.

My application turned into "applicant" 2 days after i submitted it. What does this mean?

It should say something along the lines of "under consideration" after it. If so, that means exactly what it says it is your app is being reviewed. Good luck:thumb:

yep! it says "under consideration" right now!
a week has nearly passed and im getting quite anxious. but seeing that no states along the west coast has gotten anything..i guess i shouldnt really freak out. haha

I've been under consideration for about 2+ weeks now (i'm from NJ). Don't know how long you'll wait.

maybe I'm no good at searching the site, but can anyone please direct me to anything with the time that Day I begins and what times things are dismissed on the final day( for flight purchase planning)
