USMA Appointments

Curious - if DS knows he is going to accept at USMA, why not tell USNA so that they don't waste any more time on him? It upsets apple carts that CCs accept at one place and don't tell the other Academies.
 
Because he is 99% sure re. USMA, just not 100% ... last year when he started this process, it was USNA #1. IF he gets both appointments, I want him to think hard about his decision. Either way if he has two appointments, one will be declined and open up for someone else. I'm sure he's not the only one in this situation.
