Congratulations Jsig2016!! We totally understand what you have been going through. My DS finally received news that his medical waiver was granted this week also!! When people stated that this was a wild ride, I didn't realize that we were going down the superman roller coaster. Good Luck to all the Basic Cadets of 2016!!!!:thumb:

DS received a letter this week that his second semester college grades have been received by Admissions and that the conditional aspect of his appointment for continued good grades has been removed. He earned a C in college Calculus and was very concerned that it would affect his appointment. DS is very relieved!

Yes, this process has been quite the roller coaster.:smile:
You guys might be thinking the same thing, but I'm beginning to wonder if they might be taking it a step further and offering an appointment. Especially with the Medical Waiver being approved so late in the game and it being one of the few that they grant. Good luck to your DS... and hopefully we both slide in to the Class of 2016 and will be able to meet face-to-face on I-day or over BCT.

Also, Congrats to your DS, Blackbird!

Congrats to all!

It's been awhile since I've posted here, but I have been rooting for everyone, and Haley and LFry in particular. Their positive attitudes, refusal to give up and continual commitment to being successful, no matter what, are exactly what our country needs in future military leaders. People like you give me great hope for the future. Thank you for who you are. An additional thanks to those who may not have posted, but still jump hurdles with a smile on their face, a clear-eyed view of their future, and a commitment to improve our country in whatever they are called to do.

Has anyone else still waiting had a change of admissions counselor? My online portal showed today that they changed. Maybe my counselor was getting annoyed with all my emails :shake:
